With reference to your letters of the 8th and 17th

January last, I have the honour to enclose (in original for

8th July '94. return) a letter which we have received from Constable A.

Dymond of the Hong Kong Police Force, claiming the sum of

£8.10/- in respect of his expenses during the time he was

detained in this Country in consequence of a summons having

been granted against him for an affiliation order, and I

have to request that we may receive the Secretary of State's

instructions in the matter.
